The Goldebriars Story
"Whatever Happened To Jezebel?"
Dotti J. Holmberg- Waddell
review by James Mann
Formed in 1962 in Minneapolis, The Goldebriars were the creation of Curt Boettcher, who teamed with Ron Neilson, as well as sisters Dotti and Sheri Holmberg to create "sunshine pop", a blend of elements of the folk scene with a dash of pop. The group released two albums on Epic, and then faded as the 1960s grew darker. Now, years later, Dotti has resurrected tour diaries, scrapbooks and other artifacts of the day and assembled them into a CD Rom ebook. Consisting of an Adobe pdf file, as well as a vintage clip from the group performing on Hootenanny, this is a loving and informative collection of memories from a bygone era. The electronic presentation is perfect for the many photos and clippings, and is easily read on any computer. In English and Japanese.
